Not much, but enough to make 'all things green' perk up. Yippee!
With it came the thunder and lightening. We have the weirdest thunder - it sounds like someone dragging a plastic garbage can across a gravel driveway. No booms, no rolling, just grating!
The lightening is a different story... we lost power 4 times in an hour and a half. Each time we would reset the microwave, clocks, etc. - SURPRISE! It would start again. I sat in 'my' chair' and read a book by flashlight.
All of nature is happy, including the mosquitos and sand fleas . Now, mind you, we don't have a dog or cat like so many others in our building -BUT WE HAVE THE FLEAS IN THE HOUSE. So far we have sprayed 3 times and vacuumed daily, throwing the bag away immediately after each one.
I am a mosquito and flea magnet Lucky me!!! If they don't die soon, I will
scream (again).
Hmmm... at our last abode it was sugar ants marching through the house ( kitchen and bathroom ). I think they were thirsty - at least it wasn't for my blood.
YES, I LIVE IN FLORIDA! but I'm not complaining....much
