This week, while in a local restaurant having breakfast, I noticed a white haired man with a cap that had pins etc, and an embroidered emblem on the front. Before I had a chance to read it, he removed it and laid it in the seat next to him. I watched for the time he was finished eating and approached him. I asked if I may see his cap. He proudly showed it - NATIVE AMERICAN AND VET NAM VET. I shook his hand and thanked him for his service. He immediately deflected my gratitude to the men and women they visit at the Vet's hospital, telling me of their heroism and their losses. He is a chaplain and his wife is a minister. We discussed "God and Country". His final comment was "instead of God Bless America, it is time for America to Bless God".
And my final comment now is AMEN...SO BE IT.

AMEN!! This is so true. It's time we realized that we have truly been blessed by God! We need to stop taking our blessings for granted and start putting God first in our lives and start praising Him for all that He has done!
