You have given joy, now it is your turn to receive. Time to refill!
In a gym full of noisy children, the hearing impaired girl sat alone on the bench looking out the window. It was a stormy day. The campers couldn't go out to play. She stayed there for a long time. I approached her and asked if she was okay. She responded in American Sign Language, "I'm watching the music. The storm lights the sky, the wind blows the tree, the branch sways, a raindrop falls on a leaf and makes it shiver, then it runs off onto the glistening grass. Each thing that happens plays a part. If you stop looking at individual things and try to take in the whole picture, it creates music."
That day I watched the symphony for the first time. Now, when I need to refill, I take fifteen minutes (or whatever time I have) to sit at the window. Rain or shine, there's always a symphony playing.
Enjoy the concert. It's playing just for you, and it's free.
(I still find this is the best STRESS BUSTER and the best way to CONNECT WITH LIFE.)
