ALL HEART (AGAIN)

(This is an older blog but still relevant)

Fires, floods, earthquakes, drought - seems the earth is revolting! Many prestigious people are in a position to make great strides to slow or stop Global warming. Most of us can only do the small things that, together, make a difference.

What of the little village in Mexico where the inhabitants remaining from the flood have no way to sustain life, or the city that has less than 2 months supply of water. (And now in China and Pakistan more devestation) How can they think of ice melting in some remote place. Their lives have been interrupted here and now.

Can we do something about it? Some people have decided to gather and pray. This has caused much debate. These are my feelings, and only mine. Can it hurt for different peoples to be agreeing on a need and asking for help? Can it hurt for different peoples to be agreeing in compassion for others? From the very beginning of our existence, man has looked UP for help. Some to the Spirit, some to Gods, some to one God. They have prayed with music, with dances, or silently on their knees.

The physical position is a matter of choice. Compassion is the offering. Prayer is the heart to heart process. We are together here and therefore should support each other in any way possible. "Charity begins at home" and "home is where the heart is". Our hearts can be all encompassing. They have no boundaries. Please, reach out with your heart.
(Again, I ask, please reach out with your heart).
