SOW KINDNESS AND REAP KINDNESS

Two elderly friends learned that a lady who attended their church had a very sick husband. They decided to visit her and see what they could do to help.

Not wanting to go empty handed, they put their heads and their little bit of money together and went shopping. They stopped at the grocery store for some necessities. A bouquet of flowers caught their eye - red and yellow flowers that might brighten his room.
They had just enough money to make the purchase.

When the cashier rang them up, the total was more than the posted sign, and more than they had. They politely explained that the sign showed two dollars less than the register. Upon reviewing it, the cashier agreed and called for the supervisor. After checking the sign she apologized and directed the cashier to re-ring it as zero dollars because it was their fault.

Two happy ladies walked out with their bouquet and the same amount of money they went in with. With great excitement they realized that their act of kindness was being rewarded.
