I FEEL YOUR PAIN

This blog was created to help us remember to do random acts of kindness, and to give us some creative ideas. I also hoped some of the topics would make us think of WHY we do them.

It's no secret that we are all having to work harder, stretch further, drive less, conserve more, and smile through it all. But - it's difficult to smile with your 'nose to the grindstone'!

Our time is either consumed as we push ourselves to do what's necessary, or there's too much of it on our hands when we get a chance to stop - so, we worry, fret, and stress out. All in all - we are in pain; physical, mental, emotional pain.

How can I help someone else when I can't help myself? I can't!

I can't give what I don't have! I must be my first 'patient'. Physician heal thyself.

I must take some quiet time alone and reconnect with my 'spiritual' self (the self that can find peace in the midst of the storm). I must fill the emptiness with truth, love, and freedom from the pain. Then I can reach outside myself to help someone else fill their emptiness.
