PEOPLE ARE PEOPLE

Have you ever heard someone say "well, people are just people", or "we're only people after all" ?
How exactly does that work? Do we clump us all together, figure the average, and that's the definition of 'people'?

There are so many negative words floating around, and 'people' is beginning to fit into that category. Do I forget that I am part of the 'clump'! Do I try to disassociate myself from the 'group'? Am I guilty of the same behavior, and making excuses for it? If so, then "what am I"? Superior? "I would never do that" - "I have better manners" - "I'm "....fill in the blank!

We are indeed "people", wonderfully diverse. We have different educations, are of different income levels, and make different choices. (among many other diversities) However, the choices we make are what really make us stand out as an 'individual'. We are each responsible for our own choices, but not the choices of others. We can offer opinions, teach, hint, and lead by example. The last seems to work best!

Are we good, bad, inferior, superior? ... those are judgements to be left to a much higher power than us.
Do we make mistakes, correct them, grow wiser, or stagnate? ... we make these choices every day of our lives.

Let's choose wisely.
Let's be positive; care, love, help, and make the world happier for all people.
