Someone recently asked me if I would rather have: a million dollars or find real love (without qualifications, you have to choose). I choose love because I can control making money, but I can't control finding real love".
Statistics prove that middle/middle and upper/middle class families are the happiest. So, maybe I can't control making a million, but do I need that much? With today's prices, hmmm.... Most of us live up to or beyond our means no matter how much we make. Is losing your $1,000,000 house any worse than losing your $80,000 house? "Home is where the heart is" "Be it ever so humble, there's no place like home" - all true. Red, green or brown - log cabin or private island - it's your HOME...OR HOUSE.
My heart hurts for those who are in foreclosure. Leaving your HOUSE is traumatic at the least, but remember that your heart is in your family, and friends who truly love you. They are your HOME. Think of that when you long to go home. It's only as far as your nearest loved one.
So get a hug, make a call - whatever connects you with HOME.
